Biography
Prof. Vikash Kumar Dubey has been a Full Professor since January 25, 2014. Before joining the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in May 2018, he served at IIT Guwahati as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and later as Professor. Since July 1, 2020, he is Professor (HAG) at the School of Biochemical Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi.
Over the years, he has demonstrated academic leadership, serving as Dean (Research & Development) at IIT (BHU) from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024, Coordinator/ Head of the School of Biochemical Engineering from February 2020 to February 2025, and Associate Dean (Academic Affairs) from June 2019 to February 2022. He also served as Project Director of the IDAPT-Foundation at IIT (BHU), under the National Mission on Cyber Physical Systems, from October 18, 2022 to June 2025. He is an active member of several national-level committees, expert panels, and faculty selection boards. At IIT Guwahati, he held several administrative roles, including Head, Centre for the Environment, Chairman of the Student Welfare Board, and Faculty-in-Charge. Prof. Dubey was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida State University, USA, from January 2004 to September 2006.
